Kentucky State Police say 79-year-old Harvey Chism died of smoke inhalation.
Firefighters responded to a report of a brush fire on Ralston Lane in Clark County on Sunday evening and then found the home destroyed with Chism's body inside.
Kentucky State Police said it appeared the death was not a result of foul play. Today autopsy results showed smoke inhalation was the cause of death.
