Fort Campbell honors fallen soldier

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) - Fort Campbell is holding a monthly
remembrance ceremony honoring soldiers from the installation and
the 101st Airborne Division who were killed in combat.
The ceremony on Wednesday will honor 20-year-old Spc. Jeremy L.
Brown, who died May 9 when his patrol came under fire near
Contingency Outpost Zerok, Afghanistan. Brown was from McMinnville,
Tenn.
The division has lost seven soldiers since their deployment to
Afghanistan began this year. Nearly 20,0000 soldiers from Fort
Campbell will be serving in Afghanistan this year and many of them
are part of a troop buildup to quell the insurgency there.
