Lexington Police say he's going in businesses and stealing credit cards from women's purses as they're working and so far he's spent thousands on the stolen cards.

On May 10th, Lexington Police say a man went into several businesses in Lexington.

"One was a little before, one was a little after lunch time. A black male was observed entering two businesses. One was at St. Joseph Office Park and a business on Alexandria and Harrodsburg Road," says Detective Eric Hobson with the Lexington Police Department.

That's when they say he targets female employees looking for purses.

"One of the employees at each location left a purse behind a secured area. When they walked away he would take the opportunity to go up and remove the wallets from their purse", says Detective Eric Hobson.

He's caught on tape later using the cards at a McDonald's and a Shell gas station. Now they're hoping you recognize this man, or the car he was driving, caught clearly on tape who police say is responsible for spending thousands on the stolen cards.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers at 859-253-2020. It's a free call and they don't want your name, just your information.
