Church youth group involved in crash in Kentucky returns home

A church youth group is back home in Georgia after a terrifying crash here in Kentucky.

The group was on a mission trip to Whitley County last week when a coal truck collided with one of their church vans.

Several people were hurt, including Youth Minister Terry Taphouse and his wife, Lois. They both remain at UK hospital in fair condition.

The youth group returned home to Belmont Baptist Church near Gainesville, Georgia Sunday to warm welcome from their congregation.

Church members say last week's trauma has brought the youth group together and the church will grow from it.
