Video will be available shortly

Lexington police track down a teenager wanted in connection with a string of robberies around the city.

Police have been looking for 18-year-old Jordan Cole since a hotel robbery on August 31st. He was arrested early Friday morning at a home on Mount McKinley Way in Lexington. Police say they found him by following several tips from the public.

Cole has been charged with three counts of robbery and three counts of unlawful transaction with a minor.

Police say Cole and a 15-year-old boy held up the Extended Stay America on Gribben Drive last Friday morning. Cole is also accused of robbing two taxi cab drivers along Chant Court on separate occasions in late August.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests could be made and more charges could be filed.

Cole is being held on a $36,000 bond. He appeared in court in Fayette County by video arraignment on Friday afternoon where a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.
