Rain Brings Relief, But Not An End To The Drought

Since the beginning of the summer most of Kentucky has been under a moderate to severe drought.
Last month Kentucky American Water issued voluntary water restrictions.
Those have since been upgraded to mandatory restrictions.
So many were pleased to see rain showers on Sunday.
While the rain does provide temporary relief we're still not in the clear.
In the meantime, Kentucky American Water is urging customers to be patient and continue to follow the water restrictions.
