The man accused in a violent Scott County home invasion was back in court this morning.

Stanley Stander pleaded not guilty to several charges in connection with the incident.

Police say Stander broke Ralph and Mattie Michaels home back in May, beat them, tied them up and stole their car.

Mattie Michaels was in the hospital for nearly two months, recovering from injuries she sustained during that home invasion.
