Officials in Grant County are searching for a prisoner who walked away during work release.

Johnathan Lee Crabtree was serving a five year sentence for possession of a controlled substance.

He was last seen at around 2:15 am this morning doing work near the jail.

Crabtree is originally from Pine Knott.

He does not have a history of violent behavior, but if you see him you are asked to contact the police.
