Lexington Police were called to at least one AT&T store location Tuesday morning as the newest version of Apple's iPhone went on sale.
AT&T workers called police, fearing customers in line may get out of control.
Around 150 people lined up outside the store on Reynolds Road in Lexington. Some even camped out overnight.
The device went on sale at Apple retail stores and was sent to customers who pre-ordered online last Thursday.
AT&T stores started selling the phone at 7 a.m.
