Officer Bryan Durman's widow Brandy wishes she could have brought her son to view the Fallen Peace Officer's Memorial under different circumstances. Crews etched her husband's name into the stone Tuesday morning.
"It means so much to me and my family to see him here and know he will never be forgotten - his name eternalized on the monument," says Brandy Durman.
Officer Durman died April 29, when police say 33 year-old Glenn Doneghy struck Durman with his SUV. Durman was responding to a noise complaint at the time on Alabama Ave.
"It means a lot to have him memorialized here where so many people can drive by and appreciate his sacrifice just like we do everyday," says Durman.
