Posted: Tue 11:08 PM, Jun 29, 2010

A man is facing a murder charge after a crash that killed a 10-year-old girl in Martin County.

Investigators say Ross Brandon Sluss was driving under the influence when he hit a car driven by Blanch Robinson. She had 3 young passengers in the car. Two of them escaped with minor scrapes and bruises, but 10-year-old Destiny Brewer later died. Tonight, friends of Destiny Brewer released more than 150 balloons in her memory. The event was held at the dance studio she attended in Prestonsburg.
