Alleged Dog Abuser In Court

The case against a Pulaski County man accused of beating his dog was continued Thursday morning.

Ronald Shawn Turner is charged with cruelty to animals.

Police say witnesses videotaped Turner abusing his dog, Romeo, even throwing a dog house down on top of the dog.

Turner's attorney says he wants to see 911 call records from the person who saw the alleged abuse.

Turner will be back in court on September 24th, and attorneys say the case will either be resolved or a trial date will be set.
