The Franklin County Grand jury has indicted 24-year-old Phillip Lee White of Lexington for a May shooting at a nightclub. The indictment charges White with assault in the first degree and with being a persistent felony offender.
Frankfort police say the indictments were a result of an extensive investigation by Frankfort Police Officers into the May 8, 2010 shooting of Turavon Daniels of Louisville. The shooting occurred at the Club High Definition at 114 Brighton Park Boulevard in Frankfort.
Police say White was located early Friday morning by Lexington Police during a traffic stop at East Sixth Street and Elm Tree Lane. White is now in the Franklin County Regional Jail.
