A Lexington business, closed without warning Thursday, is back open.

A customer of Lexington Hitch and Trailer contacted 27 NEWSFIRST after he went to the business to collect his vehicle that he dropped off Wednesday, but when he went to pick it up the auto shop was closed. What David Murray did discover, were orange signs claiming the business had been closed for non-payments of taxes owed to the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Murray attempted to call a number listed on the closed sign, a number to the Kentucky Revenue Cabinet, but they referred him to the Fayette County Sheriff's Department who recommended he call the Kentucky Revenue Cabinet.

Lexington police tell us the business is now back open, so customers should be able to reclaim their property.
