Rounds of showers and thunderstorms could cause issues across the region Saturday. Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes will be possible.
An investigation is underway after a 5-month-old baby was found alone on the doorstep of a Lexington home Wednesday.
Lexington Police say the baby's mother and father got into an argument over who would watch the child.
Police say the parents, Shericka Williams and Brandon Watts, then left the baby, Brandon Williams Junior, on the doorstep of a home on Wilson Street where the baby's grandmother lives.
The grandmother was not home at the time.
Someone later found little Brandon on the doorstep and called police.
He was taken to the hospital to be checked out, but appears to be ok.
Williams was taken in for questioning.
Police say she'll likely be charged, although specifics on what those charges will be are not known right now.
The Cabinet for Families and Children is also investigating the incident.
