Fire Destroys Historic Building Several Lexington residents are picking up the pieces after a historic apartment building goes up in flames.
The fire broke out around 2 am Sunday morning at this home on on the corner of South Broadway and Pine street.
Firefighters say the fire started on the porch before moving to the second floor.
Dozens of firefighters fought for hours to save the building, but in the end it was a total loss.
