FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (AP) - The summer road construction season is
shifting into high gear, and transportation officials say several
projects are affecting traffic in northeastern Kentucky.
The state Transportation Cabinet is urging motorists to be on
the lookout for construction work along several highways in the
One project is at the Interstate 64-U.S. 23 interchange in Boyd
County, where workers are paving and repairing exit ramps.
Construction will take place through Tuesday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Work could extend later in the week, depending on weather.
Another project is along U.S. 60 in Bath County, where paving
work is starting this week. The work will require lane closures and
