A firefighter suffered injuries overnight while fighting a house fire in Montgomery County. The fire started as an explosion in a garage, at the home on Linden Court.

One person was inside the home when the fire started, but he was able to make it out safely.

Firefighters had problems battling the flames, because there were only two available hydrants nearby.

A firefighter suffered an eye injury. He was treated at Mary Chiles Hospital and released.

Investigators will return to the scene.
