An overturned gas tanker that crashed, tying up traffic on Interstate 64 in Clark County for much of Tuesday, has been cleared.
The tanker crashed just after 2 p.m. in the eastbound lanes just east of mile marker 94, near Winchester.
Police say the tanker hydroplaned while trying to slow down in a construction zone, then crashed.
Police say the crash created a hole in the side of the tanker, causing gas to gush out onto the ground.
The driver of the tanker was not hurt.
Both eastbound lanes were closed as crews cleaned up the mess.
They reopened around 11 p.m. Tuesday.
