Police Say Devastating House Fire Was Intentionally Set

A Perry County woman lost everything after her home burned down and state police say it may be arson. It happened in the Viper area around 10:30 Monday morning.

The witness told police someone was seen running out of the home, just before the fire began.

Some good Samaritans, driving along highway 15, stopped to make sure no one was inside when they saw the flames.

No one was home when the fire started except their dog. He is usually locked inside, but somehow managed to escape.

Police say they have two suspects in the case. No arrests have been made.
