Teen Sisters Killed In Crash

Two sisters, both high school students, are dead after a crash in Harrison County Monday night.

The two have been identified as Jennifer and Sarah Riggs.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department says the two students killed were a junior and a senior at Harrison County High School.

The accident happened three miles east of Cythiana on 62.
That's where police tell 27 NEWSFIRST a Camry heading west rounded a curve and lost control and hit a Dodge pick-up truck.

Two other teens, also students at the high school, were also hurt.
Jake Stevens and Jennifer Edens are recovering at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

The driver of the pick-up truck, Steve Malone, was hurt as well in the crash.

More than 100 students were at the high school Monday night where counselors were on hand to aid grieving students.

School officials say both girls were very popular and active in school.

Homecoming was scheduled for the week, but all activities have been canceled to let students grieve.
