Kentucky Houseboat Builder Profiled On National Broadcast

They cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and now the luxurious houseboats on Kentucky's Lake Cumberland are receiving some national exposure.

The CBS Evening News profiled a houseboat business on the lake Monday night.

Former UK Wildcat Steve Lochmueller has a business that custom builds the ritzy boats.

The price tags range from $500,000 to one million.

One of the boats profiled is 2,300 square feet including five bedrooms, marble baths and a price tag of one-million dollars.
