Homemade Bomb Found In Mailbox

Posted: Tue 5:30 PM, Sep 18, 2007

A homemade bomb forced evacuations this morning in Northern Kentucky.

Emergency Management Officials say a postal worker picking up mail noticed the suspicious package around eleven this morning in a mailbox in Ft. Wright.

A gas station and the Fort Wright Executive Building were evacuated.

The bomb squad dismantled the device without detonating it.

A Cincinnati TV station reports officials are now trying to figure out who planted the bomb.
