Showers and thunderstorms will continue this evening. A Flash Flood Watch remains active until 8pm for southeastern Kentucky.
Severe storms Saturday night caused problems in some parts of the state.
There are several reports of flooding in Pike County, particularly around Pikeville.
Dispatchers say some people have had to be evacuated from their homes because of the flooding.
Several inches of rain fell in Pike County Saturday.
Shelby County had some problems with flash flooding as well.
Dispatchers told 27 NEWSFIRST Highways 12, 43, and 53 were blocked by high water at one time.
They also say they had to rescue someone whose car was trapped by water on Old Eminence Pike.
Firefighters also worked a house fire, possibly caused by lightning.
