It was a rough morning for a Lexington family after a fire damaged their home.

The fire broke out on Woodview Drive off of Beaver Creek Drive early Thursday morning.

A mother and her two children were treated for smoke inhalation but didn't have to go to the hospital.

Firefighters say the fire started in an upstairs bathroom with heavy smoke damage throughout the house.
