Search for missing woman after flooding

Rescue crews hope to find a missing Carter County woman alive.

She went missing after Tuesday night's flooding.

71 year old Mary Littleton, of Fultz, was inside her mobile home when it was swept off its foundation.

The flood waters hit around four this morning, and now she is no where to be found.

Her home was later located about a mile down the road..and it was in pieces.

Neighbors say the woman had lived in the remote area of the county all of her life.

Emergency management officials say the state has sent a crisis counseling team to the area to meet with family members.

In all, about 50 or 60 homes in Carter County were damaged or destroyed by the flood waters.
