People in Lexington who know the Turners woke up Thursday morning to the shocking news of the plane crash last night in Tennessee. Many breathed a sigh of relief when they heard the men survived.

The Turner family of Chinoe Road are known throughout the state and beyond from their company Amteck, a very successful electrical contracting company. But many probably know the Turners for a very different reason, a Christmas tradition in Lexington.

The family displays an elaborate light show at their home every Christmas. People come from far and wide to see the thousands of bulbs lighted for the holiday.

It's not clear if the Turners will be putting up their big Christmas display this year.

At company headquarters Amteck Officials talked about their feelings on hearing the latest news about the crash. They say they're grateful that everyone was able to walk away from the crash.

Amteck employees will celebrate the company's thirtieth anniversary next month.
