Victim Of Strip Search Takes The Stand

Posted: Thu 3:10 PM, Sep 20, 2007

MOUNT WASHINGTON, Ky. (AP) - McDonald's strip search victim Louise Ogborn has taken the stand today in Shepherdsville where her $200 million lawsuit against the restaurant chain is being tried.

She testified today that she did not leave the restaurant because she was afraid of what might happen if she did. The 21-year-old Ogborn said a caller directing the strip search threatened her if she did not cooperate.

She said she does not remember any details from the incident that lasted more than three hours. She was forced to undress, be strip searched and perform sexual acts in an office at the McDonald's in Mount Washington.

Ogborn is also suing former assistant managers Donna Summers and Kim Dockery.

Summers' former fiance, Walter Nix Junior, entered a guilty plea last year to sexually abusing Ogborn during the 2004 incident and is serving five years in prison. Summers entered an Alford plea to unlawful imprisonment and was placed on probation.
