Search teams are slowly making their way through miles of receeding creek water in Carter County. Kentucky State Troopers say they have teams on four-wheelers and with cadaver dogs trying to find Mary Littleton. They've been able to find large pieces of the home, but still no sign of the 72 year-old.
"Anytime you have increased waters you don't know what you'll come across. It's very difficult walking across the areas that have been flooded. There are always some accidents because of the soft ground," says Trooper Elliott Gollihue.
Crews plan to work until it gets too dark to see or it's too dangerous to go any further along the creek.
