A woman is expected to answer to charges Friday of stealing thousands of dollars from a church's daycare program.
Marcie King, 39, used to be the childcare director at Southern Hills United Methodist Church in Lexington.
Police say she took $115,000, which had been intended for childcare tuition and, instead, spent it on things like weight loss programs and shopping sprees.
King's arraignment is scheduled for Friday morning in Fayette Circuit Court.
