Bullitt County Meth Lab Bust

A meth lab bust lands five people in jail and causes a Bullitt County apartment building to be evacuated.

Police say they found a "bubbling" methamphetamine lab in the Gaston apartment complex in Shephersdville.

After a raid of the apartment, police arrested Teresa Gibbs, Steven Decker, Richard Malone, Richard O'Brien and Robert Shrode.

All five were charged with wanton endangerment, manufacturing meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police say the ingredients being used were so toxic, residents had to be evacuated for health precautions.
