UK football players help flood victims

30 of UK's football players showed up at the Christian Appalachian Project's warehouse in Lexington to assist with the collection and packing of donations.

The players assisted in loading up an 18-wheeler that will soon head out to Pike County to assist flood victims. They also stood out on Palumbo encouraging motorists to make donations.

The effort by the players was part of Coach Joker Phillips "Operation Win" campaign. Phillips is encouraging his players to be winners in the classroom, the community, and on the field.

50 players had requested to help out but the organizers were only able to accommodate 30 of them.
