A little after 4 p.m. Friday afternoon, folks living on Confederate Lane in Cynthiana say they heard several gun shots. Police tell us one woman shot another. The investigation is still on going, and they wont release many details, but do say the victim went to UK Hospital for non life threatening injuries. The shots, though, are what have neighbors talking. They say the man who lives at 105 Cynthiana had a girlfriend. And Friday, his ex wife drove over and started shooting at the girlfriend.

"We appreciate people being as observant as they were, being able to point things out to us," says Cynthiana Police Chief Ray Johnson.

The woman is listed in fair condition at UK hospital.
