Lexington Farmer's Market celebrates 35 years

A special milestone for the Lexington Farmer's Market today.

Mayor Jim Newberry and many others came out to mark the 35th anniversary of the Farmer's Market. For 35 years, it has been giving folks a chance to buy locally grown, farm fresh produce. In those years the market's expanded, selling more than just fruits and vegetables and moving to a bigger space, the 5/3 Pavilion, downtown.

The Farmer's Market lasts until 3:00 each Saturday. You can also go on Sundays, Tuesday and Thursdays at a different location.
