An awesome Saturday is now in the books. Temperatures from across Kentucky hovered around the 60 degree mark for most of the afternoon. Another positive, this is the first weekend since early January that we haven't tracked snow in Kentucky.
There is a very small chance that a flake of snow could try to fly as a cold front passes through Kentucky during the early morning on Sunday. It is a very small chance! Most of us that see anything from the frontal passage will see mainly showers. Not everyone will even see that.
Once the front clear Kentucky on Sunday you will notice some slightly cooler air. Highs fall from the low 60s on Saturday to the upper 40s by Sunday. This is only temporary! Our temperatures will quickly rebound on Monday.
The middle of the week brings another strong front into the area. This front will initially bring all rain and then make a transition over to snow by Wednesday evening and into Thursday. Some much colder air will also be in place with highs around freezing.
