A busy weather pattern taking shape

Posted: Tue 2:24 PM, Jan 08, 2013

We are entering into a very busy weather pattern across the bluegrass state. Clouds will continue to increase into Wednesday as highs surge well into the 50s.

An area of low pressure to our southwest will bring an increase in showers and thunderstorms our way by Thursday as temps climb to near 60. We will warm well into the 60s Friday with more scattered showers and storms.

Saturday looks to be the warmest day with highs in the mid and upper 60s with late day showers and storms.

Very heavy rain will then move in for the end of the weekend into early next week. That could lead to some high water issues.
