Some storms are possible during the morning and afternoon on Tuesday. Damaging winds and flooding will be the main threats. With an already soaked ground, expect strong winds to easily bring down some trees.
The weather today was much quieter with a mix of sun and clouds and temps struggling to get into the lower 50s. Readings hit the upper 20s and low 30s Saturday morning under a mainly clear sky. Saturday will look a lot like today with temps back into the 50s.
Sunday starts the warm up with thermometers back into the 60s. That will come along with mostly sunny skies that will carry us into the start of next week. Temps will soar back into the upper 70s and low 80s for highs. That doesn’t look to last very long as another blast of cold swings in by the end of the week.
That can also lead to another severe weather outbreak from the plains into the east.
