A cool down after the storms

The warm air looks to stick around for at least one more day before a major cool down headed our way. Highs this afternoon will be in the mid 80s with muggy conditions. Spotty thunderstorms this afternoon at 40%.

Rain really increases tomorrow with showers and thunderstorms. The main action comes Wednesday night into Thursday morning. This is when our opportunity comes for strong to potentially severe storms. Damaging winds will be our main threat. This is not an outbreak type of setup. Nevertheless we are still looking at isolated cells that could pose an issue.

Cool showers take over as the cooler air rushes in on Thursday. Our temperatures go from 80s now to the 60s starting midweek through the weekend. Rain chances will decrease to slight chances from Thursday afternoon through Sunday.
