Showers and thunderstorms will continue this evening. A Flash Flood Watch remains active until 8pm for southeastern Kentucky.
The winds may have stopped howling, but the ghosts, goblins, and superheroes are just getting fired up. Trick-Or-Treaters will have a chilly evening out on the trails. Some could run into some spooky leftovers from the storms that passed through on true Halloween. Meaning... perhaps some down tree branches and other messy after storms items.
Saturday brings another round of showers to the area. The chances are very low, but with so many things happening this weekend... even a little is a nuisance. Once the showers pass through the area it looks like temperatures will drop into the upper 40s for highs and lows could dip into the upper 20s.
A very brief recovery will take place during the middle of the week as another storm system gets fired up. The pre-frontal temperatures will push into the mid 60s. Just like the Halloween system, this will bring some gusty winds and maybe a few storms.
Have a safe & warm weekend!
