Heavy snow is taking its time moving through the state of Kentucky. This will be a historic once its all said and done with a few spots around a foot of snow.
Our Memorial Day Weekend is off and running on a very cool note across the bluegrass state.
Temps tank overnight into early Saturday and some spots could see mid to upper 30s across central and eastern Ky. Some patchy frost is possible in the colder valleys.
Milder air will slowly increase from southwest to northeast over the rest of the weekend. That may deliver a narrow ribbon of clouds and a few showers and storms by late Saturday into Sunday.
Temps by Sunday will head back into the 70s. The threat for scattered showers and storms will hang tough into Memorial Day with readings warming into the mid and upper 70s.
We may be near 90 by the end of next week.
