Rounds of showers and storms continue to push across the region. This action is packing a lot of lightning and heavy rainfall. Flash flooding is possible through Wednesday.
The rain is out and now the cooler temperatures continue to swing into the area. It'll be on the chilly side through early on Sunday. Even the afternoon and evening readings won't be anything spectacular. Likely only climbing into the low and mid 40s across Kentucky.
Our pattern is about to open up and make another wintry run this week. It all begins with a rainmaker on Monday evening. That rain will eventually make a transition over to snow on Tuesday. This will open up the atmosphere a little for more wintry weather.
When midweek arrives we see another chance of snow. This will be straight snow with no transition. The air will be much colder and will stay in place for the latter half of the week. That set-up will be a little more open to snow and cold.
Enjoy the remaining hours of your weekend.
