Numerous showers occupied the skies across Central and Eastern Kentucky. Nothing severe or even strong for that matter. Just some decent little soakers.
Monday will be under the influence of a high pressure system that could inhibit the development of isolated showers and storms. It will also be responsible for the hot airmass that will set-up shop over our area.
This week will feature most days just short of 90, hit 90, or surpass 90. The main point here is 90 degrees and that it will likely join forces with the humidity. You put the two together and heat indices will run in the mid and possibly upper 90s.By far the hottest week of the summer... so far!
