Our winter storm is shattering records. 17.1" of snow fell in Lexington and that's the most ever recorded during a two day snowstorm. We've had 32.1" of snow in the last 17 days.
A fantastic Friday on tap as sunshine returns with highs finally near average at 60 degrees. No doubt one of the best weekends we will see, temperature wise, for a while. Plenty of sunshine for both Saturday and Sunday as our highs range from the 60s to 70s. A front swings through on Monday that will bring us showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms could be strong, so we will need to keep our eyes on the forecast the next couple of days. Behind this front is still showing some cold air. This air could mix in quick enough into Tuesday morning to give us a few flurries. Not expecting any accumulation. Have a great Friday and show some love to our veterans this weekend!
