Cold air continues to settle back into central and eastern Kentucky... just in time for Christmas. A couple of disturbances will drop into the area over the next few days and these will give us the chance for a few festive flakes.
The first chance comes later tonight into Tuesday morning. A period of light snow and flurries will usher in even colder air for Christmas Eve. Highs tomorrow will be from 20-25 with temps dropping into the teens by Christmas Morning. That's when another disturbance crosses the region with the chance for a few snow flurries.
Temps later in the week remain chilly with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.
A major blast of arctic air looks to head our way by the end of the upcoming weekend.
