A milder weekend across Kentucky

The weekend is here and so is the big push to Christmas. So many folks will be out doing their shopping with less than a month before the big day arrives. I can't say what your shopping experience will be like, but I can tell you that the weather will be fine in between stops. A mix of sun & clouds will be likely with some warmer air. That means a lot of you will have highs in the upper 40s.

By Sunday, we'll see more cloud cover in the area. Those clouds will shave a few degrees off of daytime highs on Sunday. Still not a bad day for most.

There's a slim chance of a sprinkle creeping into the area late Sunday night. That moisture will be the precursor to a disturbance on Monday. In a few cases I think we'll see a wintry mix. Don't let the wording of wintry mix make you run for the hills. It's a very small chance. Most will only see rain and snow. In a few cases we could throw some sleet into the mix.
