Severe storms continue to work across southeastern Ky. Additional strong storms are working into the Lexington metro.
That cool pattern we have been discussing the past few days is here! If you enjoyed yesterday afternoon then you will really enjoy today. Highs will be slightly cooler than yesterday as we settle in the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies. Humidity is still way down and that's what will be our friend the next few days.
No issues on Thursday as we can expect much of the same. Come Friday, the majority of the day looks nice and dry. There's only a small chance during the evening and night.
The weekend continues to point toward our best chance of rain. As of right now I'm leaning toward Saturday being the wettest of the two. There's still some uncertainty about this system. Things could change, but I'd have a back up plan just to be safe.
