Scattered storms will develop into the afternoon hours and a few could be strong or severe. High winds and hail will be the main impacts.
We are looking at more rounds of showers and thunderstorms for today. The best timing for the storms and heavier rain will be from afternoon through evening. These storms will contain plenty of lightning, small hail and very heavy rain. The main threat will be minor flooding with some of the slower moving boomers. Highs today will settle in the 70s.
Moving into the weekend with a damp outlook. Rain appears likely for Saturday, which will be the best chance at rain, during the morning and afternoon. Going into Sunday we will stick with spotty rain with highs near 80°.
We start off the work week on a mostly dry note. When you have this warm of air around with dry conditions you can expect some unusually warm weather. That is what we will see Monday with highs in the upper 80s. Best chance of rain next week will be on Wednesday with some thunderstorms to watch out for during that afternoon.
