Storms continue to develop across our region. This action will dump additional heavy rains that can cause flash flooding.
Rain is pushing across much of central and eastern Kentucky. This action is ahead of low pressure working toward the region from the southwest.
This rain will be joined by some rumbles of thunder late tonight into Saturday. The heaviest will be across the south and east with some areas picking up one inch or more of rain. Lighter amounts will be noted to the north and west of Lexington.
Scattered showers and storms will be around for Sunday and that's a setup that carries us into next week.
Temps are very cool this evening with low and mid 60s. Highs on Saturday will range from the low to middle 70s for many. We will hit the low 80s by Monday and mid to upper 80s next week.
