A line of strong to severe storms will race across central and eastern Kentucky over the next several hours.
Scattered showers will move across central and northern KY Sunday with gusty winds. Some heavy downpours and occasional lightning will be possible. Expect warm and breezy winds with gusts up to 30 mph and highs reaching 66. Temperatures will be running about 15-20 degrees above average for the weekend and the first part of the week.
A cold front will pass on Tuesday and bring rain and gusty winds. Temperatures will drop into the lower 40s as the rain ends. Wednesday will be cooler but still above normal with highs in the lower 50s.
