A mix of sun, clouds, and a few storms will great you in the weather department today. During the afternoon and evening hours will be the peak time to see these storms develop. I am not totally convinced that everyone will see rain today. So only isolated activity for most folks out there.
Thursday will feature better chances of showers and storms. A frontal boundary will dip into Kentucky, but never completely clear out of town. With the arrival of the front into the area, that means a solid source of lift will be present. Which means our rain coverage will be a little better than today.
The end of the week will be fine. Perhaps a little too warm for some folks. We'll see highs around 81 with a strong southern breeze. Should make for a great day at Keeneland.
The weekend has had our attention for a while now. A strong and slow moving cold front will creep into Kentucky for late Saturday or early Sunday. That front will have plenty of strength and a ton of cooler air behind it. Highs will drop 13-18 degrees after the frontal passage.
